TUESDAY NIGHT, APRIL 24
Duffy Boat Scavenger Hunt,
Skipper Nye and first mates Krapta-Young, Toombs, Rust and Mueller invite you on three two hour tour of Newport Beach Harbor. It sets sail from the same port* as Skipper and Gilligan set sail from on Tuesday, April 24, as an optional evening excursion that will help you get to know your JAWS friends better as you work to complete the Newport Beach Harbor scavenger hunt together while enjoying the California coast from the ocean and discovering Newport Beach.
Register now... we promise this two-hour tour won't set you on the shore of an uncharted desert isle or turn you into stranded castaways.
Some updates about the scavenger hunt:
- We are providing some beverages for your boat ride, but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
- Duffy boats are equipped with Bluetooth and speaker. Bring your own tunes!
- There are restrooms at Duffy, so plan to arrive a few minutes early if you need to use the facilities before we take the bus to Balboa Island.

As administrators of busy oral surgery practices do you find that there are never enough hours in a day to complete every task or process every request made either by your staff or doctors?
We juggle our schedules and prioritize; we take and return many important calls, schedule and attend important meetings, make time to listen to our staffs’ and doctors’ concerns, update and implement important changes, etc.
Our responsibilities in running a successful OMS practice are endless. It is our responsibility as administrators/managers to make sure that every day runs smoothly, efficiently and harmoniously.
Join JAWS Society Today!
What a tremendous opportunity for networking with others who "know" exactly the pressures, problems and joys of helping to run an OMS office. It's quite affirming to be associated with an organization dedicated to just practice administrators.
Sherry Jenkins, Office Manager for Dr. Frederick Gustave
The relationships and learning experiences
that I have had the privilege to share through the JAWS Society have been a key to my successful transition into OMS from a medical specialty, my ability to stay current as changes occur and my learning from the experiences of my colleagues
Ruth Whitehurst, Austin Oral Surgery
Everyone is just like me - serious about quality and committed to excellence.
Susan Strittmatter, Northern Texas Facial & Oral Surgery
A huge benefit of joining JAWS is having access to other practice managers around the country who encounter the same issues you do. We have a lively discussion of those issues and share our solutions to them in the JAWSSociety.org forums. It is strictly Members Only, so join today to get the support and knowledge of people just like you.
